Lean Transformation Workshops
Creating and embracing a culture that supports
lean
Delta Stratagem offers an integrated workshop that focuses
participants on transforming the organization. Participants
learn through a diverse blend of classroom training, dialogue,
and hands-on application. They develop new perspectives and
discover new approaches to doing business through the integration
of lean concepts. Working in small groups, participants develop
lean projects and apply these new techniques and methods.
Lean
Action Teams
Coaching, leading and guiding employees to a new
paradigm
Following the Workshop, Delta Stratagem works with “Lean
Action Teams,” which are cross-functional, self-managed
groups of employees. They learn the fundamentals of working
as a team by building trust, conducting problem solving and
learning effective communication techniques. Through simulation
exercises, the Teams determine how to best apply these team
concepts to their implementation of lean concepts. Developing
and cultivating the “people element” of lean is
an essential building block to transforming organizations.
Supervisors also focus on how to transition their skills to
the lean environment—from supervising the daily task
to leading and empowering people.

Lean Workshops
Bringing it to the floor—engineering and technical
support
Through Hands-On Workshops participants learn the technical
aspects of Lean. Instruction begins in the classroom and transitions
to the plant floor with hands-on activities and coaching from
a lean expert. These workshops are customized to best meet
the needs and time constraints of each individual organization.

Delta Stratagem provides a diverse continuum of training products
and services. We conduct programs through formalized affiliations
with the Rochester Business Alliance (RBA), the Manufacturing
Association of Central NY (MACNY), the Onondaga Community
College (OCC) Lean Manufacturing Institute and the University
of Dayton Center for Competitive Change. Customized training
is also available for organizations. The instructional design
is tailored to the unique needs of each organization and is
provided on-site.
